Your life if you're dealing with diet related weight issues and can't seem to control what you’re eating, it may not be entirely your fault. That's because our taste buds are manipulated everyday by food processors and manufacturing companies whose business depends on manipulating our senses.
In fact food processing, especially the world of flavors, has got so sophisticated that you can now get exact replicas of tastes like sweet cherry pie and hot butter popcorn and sour green apples. Sweets and sugary foods are especially hard to resist. When someone puts snack foods like cookies, chips and such in front of us, we find them nearly impossible to say no to.
And there's the whole issue with MSG and excitotoxins. These flavor enhancing substances are obviously put into processed foods to improve their taste and to increase sales, but did you know there's over a hundred studies that link these to weight gain and obesity?
The best ways to prevent this ever accelerating upward ascent of our weight is a good nutritional supplement program. Use protein to combat cravings for sugar. Use plant-derived minerals and kelp and sea salt liberally in cooking and on salads, and mix in butter and extra virgin olive oil and coconut oil because essential fats are great for the cardiovascular system. Make sure you are getting your fatty vitamins and your vitamin C as well. You'll notice that it's not long before it becomes easier and easier to stand firm in the face of junk food temptations. On top of that you’ll also probably begin to drop a few pounds too.
