Pharmacist Ben Fuchs discussed the ability to achieve healing and good health through natural remedies and supplements. Speaking of Parkinson's, he said the disease is often marked by shaking, which is linked to a deficiency in dopamine, a reward chemical in the brain. He stressed the importance of addressing the root causes of chronic diseases rather than merely treating symptoms, stating, "All disease is cell disease... but all cell disease begins in the blood." Fuchs added that "dirty blood" is caused by toxins entering the bloodstream through a compromised gut, a condition he referred to as "leaky gut syndrome."

Fuchs highlighted the alarming trend of people experiencing health deterioration as early as their 30s or 40s. "Our bodies are healing and regenerating systems... they just need raw materials," he said, referring to essential nutrients. He also advocated for a holistic approach to health, emphasizing the need to build connective tissue to combat aging and degenerative conditions. He addressed listener questions, including one about Raynaud's syndrome (where extremities like the fingers and toes overreact to cold or stress). Fuchs connected the condition to digestive health and recommended essential fatty acids as a natural anti-inflammatory. For more, check out Ben's new podcast with Dave Michaels, "The Mineral Way."
