Pharmacist Ben Fuchs from Critical Health News argued that nutrition, hydration, and stress management are central to maintaining health and resisting illness. Fuchs addressed a recent parasitic outbreak linked to contaminated lettuce, attributing widespread illness to compromised immune systems rather than the pathogen alone. He stressed that poor diet, toxicity, and fear weaken natural defenses. "When we're in a fear mode," Fuchs noted, "our body's ability to withstand infections, microbes, parasites, viruses, etc. becomes substantially weakened." To combat physical breakdown, Fuchs advocated for proper nutrition and mental discipline, asserting that humans possess an internal instinct toward wellness.

Fuchs outlined his "triangle of disease," a concept positing that chronic illness stems from three interconnected areas: digestion, blood sugar regulation, and the adrenal-thyroid complex. He claimed that addressing digestive health and blood sugar levels can resolve chronic ailments without pharmaceutical intervention. "We're not sick," Fuchs declared. "We're starving. We don't need to be fixed. We need to be fed, and it's as simple as that."

He also drew a connection between aging and hydration. Fuchs explained that aging causes cellular desiccation, emphasizing that effective hydration requires electrolytes and minerals rather than plain water alone. "You're 70% 'magic water,'" Fuchs said, referring to "structured water" sustained by proteins like collagen and electrolytes. Fuchs also discussed natural remedies for prostate health, highlighting pumpkin seeds for their concentrations of zinc, selenium, and essential fats, alongside compounds like beta-sitosterol to assist with urinary function.
